Next-generation Thunderbolt™ technology

Increase your speed potential with Thunderbolt I & II.

Thunderbolt I & II technology provides PCI Express with blazing-fast 10Gb/s transfer speeds. Thunderbolt™ 2 doubles the bandwidth to deliver bi-directional 20Gb/s speed, which provides the bandwidth needed for simultaneous 4K video file transfer and display. The Thunderbolt™ 2 NAS features Thunderbolt™ 2 for high-speed and flexible connectivity. You can move data to/from a peripheral up to 4 times faster than with USB 3.

The Thunderbolt™ 2 protocol uses industry standard networking technologies meaning the high-speed transmission over your Thunderbolt™ 2 cable is able to run all network services (such as file sharing, FTP, and other services). The Thunderbolt™ 2 NAS can also simultaneously run general Ethernet services with the built-in 10GbE LAN card in addition to the Thunderbolt™ 2 network, completely independently and with no bandwidth interference. You can flexibly allocate proper bandwidth for different concurrent tasks.

Improve 4K workflows with Thunderbolt™ NAS

As 4K video rapidly approaches mainstream audiences, you can discover how wonderful the Thunderbolt I & II NAS is for supporting 4K workflows, especially for video editors, filmmakers, studios and post-production houses.

Increased Productivity
Up to 2 Thunderbolt™ devices can connect to the Thunderbolt™ 2 NAS to simultaneously process real-time video editing.

Multi-track Video Editing
The Thunderbolt™ 2 NAS delivers powerful and stable throughput for real-time non-linear video editing, and also allows multi-track video editing with the lowest latency.

Direct 4K HDMI Display
A 4K monitor can connect to the Thunderbolt™ 2 NAS via HDMI to directly play 4K videos.

Management with Video Station
The Video Station is a useful video management system for archiving, organizing and sharing video collections.
